NSU Varsity 4 Claims Final Boat of the Week Award

The Nova Southeastern Varsity 4 has been named Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week for the period ending May 9.

Rowing in the most storied regatta in the sport, the NSU Varsity 4 closed out its regular-season schedule with a victory in the DII/DIII Varsity 4 Final at the 72nd Dad Vail Regatta.  The Sharks clocked a time of 8:35.889 to beat crews from Rollins, Florida Tech, Bowdoin, Chicago, and Grand Valley State.  Rowing to victory for the Sharks were cox Marissa Stickles (Jacksonville, Fla.), Elizabeth Hurley (Fort Mill, S.C.), Amber Morrell (Brigantine, N.J.), Kayla Schock (Roswell, Ga.) and Sarah Patterson (Winter Park, Fla.).
