Tech's Iacobelli and Rollins' Dolph Named Golfers of the Week
Florida Tech's Daniela Iacobelli and Rollins' Colin Dolph have received Sunshine State Conference Golfer of the Week honors for the period ending February 22.
![]() | WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK -- Florida Tech senior Daniela Iacobelli (Detroit, Mich.) was the top finisher at the Newberry College Invitational in Hilton Head, S.C. Iacobelli’s two-round score of 147 (75-72) was the best of 72 golfers participating in chilly, windy conditions. As a team, Tech finished 10th of 15 schools competing in the event. |
![]() | MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK -- Rollins junior Colin Dolph (Huntington, N.Y.) fired a 208 (70-70-68) to finish second of 75 golfers at the Matlock Collegiate Classic. His 68 on the final day of the event was the lowest score of the round. Dolph and Clayton State’s Will Wilcox, who earned medalist honors, are the first golfers since 2005 to shoot under par in all three rounds of the tournament. As a team, the Tars finished 11th of 15 teams. |
