FSC's Kwambai and NSU's Palmer Race to Cross Country Weekly Honors

RUNNER OF THE WEEK -- Florida Southern junior Carolyne Kwambai (Eldoret, Kenya) was the top finisher at the Florida Tech Invitational, crossing the finish line with a time of 18:25 to lead a field of 55 runners.  Kwambai’s finish helped the Moccasins place third in the event.  Her performance marked the first individual victory of her career.

RUNNER OF THE WEEK -- Nova Southeastern sophomore Jeff Palmer (Orange Park, Fla.) had another strong performance for the Sharks, turning in a time of 25:23 to finish second among 69 runners at the Florida Tech Invitational.  Palmer’s efforts helped NSU secure second place in the team standings.
