Five SSC Men's Basketball Players Selected to NABC Honors Court

Five SSC players were selected to the NABC Honors Court, announced Tuesday afternoon by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Eckerd's Wayne Sears and Woody Taylor and Saint Leo's Marcus Ruh, Shaun Adams, and Tom Neary made the list.
Sears, Ruh, and Neary are all management majors. Adams is studying education, while Taylor is an international business major.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes those collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the 2011-12 season. The criteria for the list is as follows:
1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player,
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2011-12 academic year,
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution, and
4. Member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Institution.
