UT Student-Athletes Lend Hand at Ladies and Gentlemen's Club Induction

A group of University of Tampa student-athletes participated in the Ladies and Gentlemen's Club Induction Ceremony at Just Elementary on Thursday evening.
The Gentlemen's Club is designed to provide opportunities for participants to enhance self-esteem and self-image, and the Ladies Club is designed to empower girls to be their own best friend and inspire them to discover and be proud of who they are.
Both clubs are being used as a successful intervention tool in many inner city, urban and now rural school districts.
The University of Tampa student-athletes presented the neckties to the young men and sashes and pins to the young women prior to the induction pledge.
